Dear Providence Spring Elementary Families,

I hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful and restful summer. As we prepare for another exciting school year, I want to take a moment to welcome both our returning families and those who are new to Providence Spring Elementary.

It is truly a privilege to begin my second year as principal of this incredible school. Reflecting on my first year, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve such an exceptional community. Together, we celebrated tremendous accomplishments, including outstanding academic achievement and exceptional student growth. These successes are a testament to the dedication of our talented staff, the hard work of our students, and the unwavering partnership of our families.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal in several schools, including within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Those experiences have strengthened my belief that every child deserves to be challenged academically, supported emotionally, and inspired to discover their unique gifts.

Outside of school, I am a wife and mother. My husband and I have been married for 25 years, and we are blessed with three wonderful sons, ages 21, 19, and 10. Being both an educator and a parent reminds me every day how important it is for children to feel safe, valued, encouraged, and connected. At Providence Spring Elementary, we remain committed to educating the whole child by fostering academic excellence while intentionally supporting each student’s social-emotional well-being, character development, and sense of belonging.

As we begin this new school year, I am excited to continue building on the strong foundation that makes Providence Spring Elementary so special. Together, we will continue to provide engaging learning experiences, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for every child to grow with confidence and purpose.

Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and support. It is an honor to serve as your principal, and I look forward to another year of learning, growth, and celebration together.
